Recently, five brand-new Aurora SA60L light sport aircraft(LSA) were lined up neatly at Starair's production base and delivered to Hunan Aviation Technician College in a unified shipment.
At the delivery ceremony, the five Aurora aircraft featured full carbon-fiber composite fuselages and sleek streamlined designs, with their paintwork shining brightly in the sunlight. From order receipt to design, production, test flights and final consolidated delivery, Starair once again demonstrated top-tier supply chain integration and mass delivery capabilities in China's general aviation manufacturing sector.
As the domestic manufacturer with the largest market share of LSA, Starair achieved an industry milestone of annual production and sales exceeding 100 units each in 2026, with total deliveries surpassing 450 aircraft. The bulk shipment of these five aircraft stands as another solid proof of its production capacity following the milestone, indicating that Starair has fully established systematic and large-scale production and operation capabilities.Exquisite Quality: The National Aircraft Earns Recognition from Professional Institutions
Hunan Aviation Technician College is a key base for cultivating high-skilled aviation professionals. Its bulk procurement fully recognizes the outstanding performance of Aurora aircraft and the brand credibility of Starair.
As China's first LSA made of full carbon-fiber composite materials to obtain airworthiness certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the Aurora SA60L boasts a cruising speed of 220 km/h and a maximum range of 1,200 km. Thanks to its high cost performance and excellent safety performance, it has become the preferred model for pilot training and sport flying across the country. The newly delivered aircraft will greatly improve the practical teaching capacity of relevant majors at Hunan Aviation Technician College and help cultivate more high-caliber talents for the low-altitude economy sector.
This delivery represents not only product supply, but also a fruitful achievement of Starair's in-depth integration of industry and education. As the low-altitude economy has become a national strategic priority, there is a huge talent gap in professional aircraft operation, maintenance and flight sectors. By delivering the five new aircraft, Starair is evolving from a pure product supplier to a talent enabler, laying a solid talent foundation for the vigorous development of the low-altitude economy.
Going forward, Starair will continue to uphold the corporate philosophy of "Creating Chinese Value for World Aviation". With more efficient production, superior products and comprehensive solutions, the company will serve China's general aviation industry and help Chinese aircraft soar higher and farther.
