National Mainstream Media Visit
On August 12, a press group consisting of 24 mainstream Chinese media outlets visited Starair, Hunan's leading general aviation enterprise, to cover its innovative development achievements over recent years. As the only low-altitude industry enterprise selected for this interview in Hunan Province, the company drew extensive media attention.
With over 20 years of experience in general aviation, Starair specializes in the R&D, manufacturing and sales of manned light aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Its products serve diverse low-altitude scenarios: manned aircraft for flight training and aviation tourism; the world's first tethered UAV fire trucks for high-rise, forest and petrochemical fire emergencies; large cargo UAVs for low-altitude logistics and disaster rescue.
The company holds international airworthiness certifications including CAAC TC/PC, US FAA and Australian CASA. It achieves full independent development of all core technologies and products, and has built the most comprehensive R&D, manufacturing and management system among China's private aviation enterprises.
To date, the self-developed Aurora light sport aircraft has delivered more than 450 units, capturing 80% of China's domestic market share, with exports to developed countries such as Australia and Germany.
