Starair Aircraft's "High-Rise Building Fire-Fighting Tethered Drone System" Receives MIIT Road Motor Vehicle Product Access Announcement!

On November 8th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued the 2024 Document No. 32, announcing the 388th batch of road motor vehicle manufacturers and products. Starair Aircraft's SAT5260GXFAP50/150A compressed air foam fire truck (i.e., the High-Rise Building Fire-Fighting Tethered Drone System) was listed, marking that the tethered drone fire truck model independently developed by Starair Aircraft has been certified by a national authoritative institution and is now market-ready.

The SAT5260GXFAP50/150A compressed air foam fire truck, also known as the "Starair High-Rise Building Fire-Fighting Tethered Drone System," integrates drones and fire trucks into one system. The tethered drone serves as an aerial fire-fighting platform, continuously supplied with power and extinguishing agents by the fire truck. It can spray extinguishing agents continuously at an altitude of 150 meters to carry out fire-fighting operations.

The "Starair High-Rise Building Fire-Fighting Tethered Drone System" is based on key projects under the "Major Natural Disaster Prevention and Public Safety" initiative of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the "Key Projects" of the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology. It has been developed by He Qinghua's team at Starair Aircraft over three years, overcoming multiple core technologies.

2. Long Endurance: The drone is continuously powered and supplied with extinguishing agents by the vehicle, allowing for sustained operations.

3. Rapid Response: The preparation time from the fire truck's arrival at the scene to the execution of aerial fire-fighting operations is less than 4 minutes. It features an integrated tethered composite cable with adaptive winding functionality, eliminating the need for manual hose deployment and storage.

4. High Integration: The entire system is integrated into one fire truck, with a compact structure. The total vehicle length is only 10 meters. The drone can take off and land directly from the truck roof without deploying landing legs, occupying minimal space.

5. High Intelligence: The system features intelligent functions such as one-click drone cabin launch, one-click takeoff and landing, and semi-autonomous operations.

6. Multi-functional Application: Equipped with a vehicle-mounted fire cannon, it can extinguish fires from high altitudes and also serve as the main urban fire truck for low-altitude ground-level fire fighting, making it a versatile vehicle.
