August 28, 2026 — Starair  heavy-duty tethered UAV system for high-rise building firefighting was officially handed over to Hunan Fire and Rescue Brigade for operational deployment.

Developed under the leadership of Professor He Qinghua, Chairman and Chief Expert of Starair, the complete system consists of 3 core modules: a long-endurance heavy-lift UAV, a multi-functional ground support vehicle, and an integrated power-water-optical composite cable. After years of R&D and iteration, the equipment can perform fire-fighting operations for buildings up to 200 meters high, covering more than 80% of high-rise buildings. Boasting world-leading overall performance, it breaks the operational limitations of conventional firefighting equipment, enhances fire-response capabilities for high-rise structures and reduces risks for front-line rescuers.

The acceptance expert group reviewed technical documents, verified equipment parameters and conducted field operational tests. They fully recognized the equipment’s technical innovation and practical adaptability, confirming that delivery requirements had been met.

This acceptance and delivery marks a key milestone as the product moves from R&D prototyping to real-world application. Going forward, Starair will continuously iterate its low-altitude emergency-response equipment based on operational feedback, accelerate deployment across multiple scenarios, and safeguard urban safety with low-altitude technology.
