Starair Tethered UAV Fire Truck Completes High-Rise Firefighting Drill for Densely Occupied Premises
On September 24, a firefighting drill was held at a university in Changsha to verify the field-operation performance of the Starair Tethered UAV Fire Truck for fire emergencies in high-rise and densely occupied buildings.
The drill simulated a fire on a high-floor balcony with people trapped inside. As ground rescue teams carried out search-and-rescue missions, the tethered UAV fire truck performed accurate foam fire suppression for indoor high-rise fires. Reaching an altitude of 150 meters, it discharged foam continuously for 13 minutes, addressing major shortcomings of traditional high-rise firefighting equipment.
Core Advantages
1.Fast deployment and small footprint, capable of operating in densely-built areas with restricted access.
2.Only 2-3 operators are required to complete the full operation.
3.High-flow, long-range foam output enables precise targeting of fire sources.
4.Tethered power and liquid supply allows long-duration uninterrupted firefighting.
5.Built-in safety redundancy mitigates secondary hazards arising from high-altitude operations.
6.Works in tandem with ground fire-fighting units to deliver integrated air-ground rescue operations.
Validated by multiple real-scene field tests, the Tethered UAV Fire Truck is applicable to campuses, hospitals, mixed-use commercial-residential complexes and super high-rise buildings. It can be incorporated into professional fire-emergency response systems.
