Recently, two Aurora SA60L light sport aircraft independently developed and manufactured by Starair have successfully arrived in Australia. The aircraft has performed excellently in all aspects, completed all local registration procedures, and been officially delivered to a local flight school for pilot training!
As a major export order for Starair in the first batch of 2026, these two "Aurora" aircraft set sail from Shekou Port in Shenzhen and were received by Phoenix Aircraft, Starair’s exclusive sales and maintenance authorized dealer in Australia. After arriving, the aircraft were immediately reassembled, tested repeatedly, and registered with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia.
As a mature model that has long obtained airworthiness certification from CASA (Australia), the professional and efficient China-Australia team followed strict standard procedures in every step, from fuselage docking and avionics testing to flight testing. All performance indicators not only fully met the standards, but also demonstrated excellent flight status, successfully passing the registration review of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority and obtaining the legal "identity certificate".
At present, Starair’s "Aurora" has officially joined the fleet of the world-renowned Flight Training School Sportfly Aviation and is in operation as its core training aircraft.
From Zhuzhou, Hunan, to the South Pacific, Starair’s "Aurora" measures the world with its solid wings. This is not only a wonderful display of domestic light sport aircraft on the international stage, but also a new boost of vitality that China’s general aviation manufacturing brings to the global aviation talent training industry!
